Aerospace BAYKEE Lithium-ion battery pack communication backup system and UPS system

In the UPS uninterruptible power supply system, the backup battery pack is the power supply guarantee line of the entire power supply system, and it is also the focus and difficulty of the power supply maintenance work. In the system interruption accident, the fault caused by the battery pack accounts for a large proportion, so, people will be more cautious about the changes in backup battery technology. In the past, most of the Online UPS backup batteries of Aerospace Baykee used valve-regulated lead-acid batteries. The lead-acid batteries have shortcomings such as low mass ratio, large volume and weight, low charge and discharge rate, short life, and frequent date maintenance.

    

       

In order to solve the above problems, the application of lithium iron phosphate batteries for Aerospace Baykee UPS is increasing. Compared with traditional lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries have a longer service life, smaller size and weight, the ability to operate in a wider range of environments, and can be charged and discharged quickly with large currents. It also has superior high temperature resistance which can still work normally at 20~﹢65.

Lithium iron phosphate battery products have the following characteristics:

Lithium-ion batteries have the following advantages:

1. High energy density, with high storage energy density, about 6-7 times that of lead-acid batteries.

2. High conversion efficiency.

3. Long service life, cycle service life ≥3000 times, according to the standard charge and discharge cycle (25°C environment, 1C/1C), the capacity is attenuated to 80% of the nominal capacity.

4. No memory effect, no charge and discharge delay.

5. The self-discharge rate is very low, which is one of the most prominent advantages of the lithium-ion battery.

6. The volume and weight are small, the weight is about 1/5-6 of the lead-acid battery under the same volume;

7. Wide operating temperature range, can be used in the environment of -2065.

8. The lithium battery adopts a three-layer battery management system, from the battery cell to the battery cabinet, and the battery cabinet parallel system to ensure the reliability of the lithium battery layer by layer. Baykee lithium battery management system has functions such as battery cell voltage and temperature detection, cell current sharing management, charge and discharge detection, SOC, SOH management, alarm management, report analysis and other functions which can realize timely identification of battery failures, early warning, and active isolation.

9. In terms of hardware design, the lithium battery cabinet is equipped with a circuit breaker, and the battery management module is equipped with fuses and relays to ensure rapid action and protect the battery in the event of a fault.

10. In terms of operation and maintenance management, lithium battery management system can be integrated into UPS management system. Battery management and UPS management system are a complete system. Lithium battery management system can upload battery information to UPS system, and work together with Baykee UPS and network management system to achieve intelligent battery management, reduce the frequency of detection, and make the lithium battery operating status checkable, manageable, and controllable at any time.
